Terms & Conditions – Event Photography

By booking event photography services with Anya Levi ("the Photographer"), the Client agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking Fee, Payment & Usage

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure the agreed event date and time.

Upon receipt of the booking fee, the Photographer will reserve the date exclusively for the Client.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than the day of the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Travel within Zone 1 is included. For locations outside Zone 1, an Uber fare from W2 will apply. Events outside Central London may incur additional travel expenses, which will be agreed in advance.

Copyright of all photographs remains with the Photographer in accordance with UK copyright law.

Upon full payment, the Client receives a licence to use the delivered images for personal, editorial, promotional and commercial purposes (basically you can do whatever you want with the photos :) ).

If the Client wishes to reschedule the booking, a £60 rescheduling fee will apply unless the change is due to circumstances beyond the Client's reasonable control (such as severe weather, illness or venue cancellation), in which case rescheduling will be free of charge where possible.

In the unlikely event that the Photographer is unable to attend due to illness, injury, or circumstances beyond their control, the Photographer may cancel or reschedule the booking. If rescheduling is not possible, all monies paid will be refunded in full. The Photographer will make reasonable efforts to recommend a trusted replacement photographer where appropriate, although this cannot be guaranteed.

The final photographs are licensed for the Client's personal, professional and commercial use unless otherwise agreed.

The Photographer reserves the right to use selected images for their portfolio, website, exhibitions, competitions and social media.

If the Client requires complete confidentiality, the Photographer may agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for an additional fee of 50% of the total booking value.

2. Event Timing

Photography coverage begins and ends at the agreed booking times.

If the event starts late, the Photographer is not obliged to extend coverage beyond the agreed finish time unless additional hours are available and paid for (£100/30 mins).

3. Photographer's Artistic Discretion

The Photographer will use their professional expertise and creative judgement to document the event.

As events are live and unpredictable, the Photographer cannot guarantee the capture of every guest, speech, moment, or requested photograph. Coverage depends on timing, lighting conditions, venue restrictions, subject availability and the natural flow of the event.

The Photographer will always make reasonable efforts to capture the most important moments but cannot be held liable for moments that are missed due to circumstances beyond their control.

RAW (unedited) image files remain the property of the Photographer and will not be supplied under any circumstances.

4. Editing

All photographs included within the package are professionally edited to Anya Levi's signature style.

Standard editing includes:

  • Colour grading

  • Exposure and lighting adjustments

  • White balance correction

  • Cropping and straightening where appropriate

  • General image optimisation

  • Teeth whitening

  • Removal of people or objects

Standard editing does not include beauty retouching such as:

  • Skin retouching

  • Body reshaping

  • Hair adjustments

  • Background manipulation

  • Extensive Photoshop work

Professional retouching is available upon request at £15 per photograph.

By booking the Photographer, the Client acknowledges they are familiar with and accept the Photographer's editing style, colour grading and artistic aesthetic as shown throughout the Photographer's portfolio and social media.

5. Image Selection & Delivery

The Photographer will carefully curate and select the strongest photographs from the event.

Duplicate images, test shots, missed-focus images, blinks and other unusable photographs will be removed at the Photographer's discretion. RAW files and unedited photographs will not be delivered.

The final edited images will be delivered via a private online gallery available for download in high resolution.

6. Delivery Timeline

The final gallery will be delivered within 7 working days following the event unless otherwise agreed.

Where possible, the Client agrees to credit the Photographer when photographs are published online or in print (e.g. "Photography by Anya Levi").

7. Gallery Access

The online gallery will remain available for 30 days after delivery.

After this period the gallery may be permanently removed, and image recovery cannot be guaranteed.

Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up all photographs during this time.

8. Limitation of Liability

While every reasonable care is taken in capturing, editing and storing photographs, the Photographer's liability for any claim shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the booking.

The Photographer is not responsible for circumstances beyond their control, including venue restrictions, weather, guest interference, equipment failure caused by third parties, or force majeure events.

OUR WORK FLOW

1. ALIGNING ON YOUR VISION

Every shoot begins with understanding your vision. You can share inspiration images, a concept, or simply describe the feeling or atmosphere you would like the photographs to capture.

I take particular care in listening closely to what you want to create. My goal is to bring your vision to life exactly as you imagine it, while also adding my own artistic intuition and visual style.

My approach leans towards a natural, minimalist aesthetic, where the focus is on authentic emotion, effortless energy, and sculptural, dynamic posing. I also enjoy incorporating intentional symbolism and visual metaphors into images — subtle elements that give the photographs deeper meaning and storytelling.

Much of my inspiration comes from photographers such as Natalie Kharpuschenko, Leslie Zhang, Ines & Vinoodh, Tyrone Lebon and Paolo Roversi. whose work blends strong visual composition with emotional depth and cultural storytelling.

2. THE CREATIVE DIRECTION

Once I have a clearer understanding of the shoot you have in mind, I will suggest the package that best suits your vision and needs. To secure the date, a non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure the date. Once the booking is confirmed, I begin developing the creative direction for the shoot.

Depending on the project, we may also schedule a short call beforehand to get to know each other better and go through the visual concept together. This is a chance to discuss the mood board, refine the direction, and address any questions or ideas you might have.

For shoots that require a larger creative team, we can also bring in additional collaborators such as makeup artists, hairstylists, stylists, movement directors, set designers, or videographers. Planning these details ahead of time helps ensure the shoot itself feels relaxed, organised, and creatively focused.

Having lived in London for the past 15 years, I’ve built strong relationships with many talented creatives in the industry, and I’m always happy to recommend the right people to help bring the vision to life.

3. SHOOT DAY

This is where the magic happens.

During the shoot, my role goes beyond simply taking photographs. I also act as a movement director, guiding you through poses, gestures, posture, and natural movement so the images feel fluid rather than staged.

The aim is to create photographs that feel cinematic, effortless, and alive — capturing real emotion, natural energy, and beautifully sculptural compositions.

I like to create a balance between classic, timeless portraits — those “picture-perfect” shots — and more expressive, artistic moments. This can include movement, softer blur, cinematic framing, experimenting with different lighting setups, and exploring the most flattering angles of your face and body.

The goal is to capture a range of images that feel both elegant and emotionally alive — photographs that feel effortless, dynamic, and authentic to you.

4. DELIVERY

After the shoot, I carefully review and edit the strongest images from our session. Alternatively you can also choose the final images to be edited. Within 7 working days, you will receive a curated online gallery featuring the best edited photographs.

If you would like additional photographs or minor retouching adjustments, these can also be arranged.

ABOUT ME

Hi, lovely to meet you. My name is Anya, and I’m a photographer and creative director. Since I was 11 years old, I’ve been obsessed with capturing people’s true essence — making everyone feel seen, comfortable, and confident in front of the lens.

Ultimately, my aim is to create a collection of images that feel timeless — photographs you would want to frame, keep, and return to for years to come. Images you might one day show to your partner, your friends, your children, or even your grandchildren.

I want to capture not only how you look, but how you feel.

Your energy, your essence, your aura, your strength — you from the inside out.

My work is rooted in storytelling — crafted to feel raw, real, and deeply human. I like to create environments where moments unfold naturally — where everything feels candid, yet intentional. I graduated from LSE with a degree in Philosophy, which deeply shaped the way I see and create. I’m passionate about infusing my work with subtle messages, layers of meaning, and a sense of purpose that goes beyond the surface.

I have photographed for brands such as Vogue Italia, Valentino, BVLGARI, L'Officiel and my work has been featured in PhotoVogue and exhibited in London, Venice, New York, and Barcelona. I’m also a winner of the Photopolis Photo Festival competition and a Life Framer award recipient.
